Sequencing Technology Platform
At Cogenics, we utilize the gold standard ABI 3730xl DNA Analyzer platform for all sequencing service projects. The 3730xl Analyzer is a fully automated, 96-capillary electrophoresis instrument. To enable high throughput performance, it simultaneously illuminates all capillaries, has an integrated auto-sampler and sample plate stacker, and incorporates an internal barcode reader. The superior optical design, combined with an advanced polymer, enables the longest read lengths of any available system.
To ensure high quality base calling, assembly and SNP detection, Cogenics uses a select collection of industry-leading sequence analysis software packages:
