On April 15th, 2009, Beckman Coulter Inc. acquired Cogenics with plans to merge this company into the Agencourt genomic service business. Within the next 30-60 days, we will be in contact with our existing customers to discuss plans for transitioning services currently offered in Houston to our facilities in Beverly, MA and Morrisville, NC. Moving our services from Houston will be completed in phases beginning with some of our non-regulated services in early to mid June, with plans to be completed by the end of the year. Express Sequencing - Effective June 10th The service currently offered as Express Sequencing will be transitioned to the Beverly facility and processed as QuickLane DNA Sequencing, Agencourt’s equivalent service offering for quick turn around of individual research samples. If you have not yet received your welcome packet and have questions regarding how to submit samples for our QuickLane service please contact 1-800-361-7780 and ask to speak with a Project Manager. All other service offerings can be submitted to Cogenics as usual until we provide alternative guidance.
