Cogenics delivers a complete genotyping solution. From the initial project consultation, through DNA isolation, genotyping, and data analysis, we have unrivalled experience and expertise. 

Our broad genotyping service offering is flexible enough for:

Whole genome scans to targeted genotyping to individual SNP studies
1 sample to 10s of 1000s of samples

Cogenics clients have access to our proprietary HAP® Database of SNPs and haplotypes (which we call HAP™ Markers) for > 8,000 genes. The HAP® Database includes location and context sequence of each SNP discovered in our standard Index Repository (representing the major populations of the world in 93 well-characterized individuals), HAP™ Markers discovered in the this Index Repository, and frequencies of SNPs and HAP™ Markers in each population group in the Index Repository. Customers can purchase non-exclusive access to the entire HAP® Database or to sub-sets of information on a gene-by-gene basis, or they can leverage the HAP® Database to discover genetic variation present in their own DNA samples. Cogenics’ DecoGen® Informatics System performs data analysis of HAP® Database information, with the ability to identify probable associations between SNPs and clinical outcomes. DecoGen® is also compatible with SNP data from public and client databases.
